Fire Safety
For manufacturers of structural members, construction materials and accessory elements, we are the one-stop shop offering all necessary fire tests for determining the fire resistance and reaction to fire of construction materials, as well as classifications and certifications for reaction to fire, fire resistance, smoke protection, fire expansion characteristics, flammability, and further product characteristics – in accordance with German or European standards. In addition, the Fire Safety department creates test programmes and prepares fire-safety-related assessments and expert opinions for approvals in individual cases / project-specific type approvals. We offer test-specific support during product development, the issuance of general buildings authority test certificates, and external monitoring services. For certification procedures according to the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), our department also reviews specific technical documentation in accordance with Article 38 CPR.
